Any suggestions, requests or complaints should be addressed to the tournament Chair, Debra Finn, who will pass them on to EBGC. Please do NOT go directly to Michael Wynne or the Eagle Bend staff.
To sign up to play on Thursday mornings, call the pro shop on 406 837-7310.
Tuesday Play
Sign Ups and Game Fee:
Sign-up sheets for the following Tuesday will be available on Tuesdays, with a deadline of close of pro shop on Sunday. The sheet will be kept in the pro shop and not on the bulletin board. Late sign-ups will automatically be space available only. A $5 game fee will be collected each Tuesday and may be charged to member's club account or paid in cash. Winnings each week will be paid out in golf shop credit. This year we will have a chip in pot in addition to the weekly game.
Michael Wynne will schedule EBLGA tee times from May through September. Formal games will begin in May and run through September (during weeks where enough players have signed up to have a game). Tee times will, for the most part, remain the same as past years. See the EBLGA calendar on the Home Page for exact tee times.
The EBLGA recognizes a most improved player for each month from May-August, and an overall most improved player for the season (May-August).
All players on Tuesday game day with handicaps higher than 44 will be required to play with a 44 handicap. A maximum score of Net Double Bogey should be used when entering scores into the handicap system. Net Double Bogey is equal to Par + 2 + any handicap strokes (pops) received (based on the players handicap). Questions: contact Barb Ramsey.
Ringer cards will be for sale ($10) starting in May. Ringer scores may assist you in tracking your own best scores on holes over the course of the season. You may purchase your ringer cards from Carol Chase on Tuesdays before league play.
The Pro Shop does not post scores for any EBLGA member. Instead, the EBLGA Handicap Committee will post (hole by hole) Tuesday play day scores for each player. For rounds played outside of Tuesday league play, each EBLGA member is responsible for posting her own score at the end of each round. If a player finishes at least 14 holes, but less than 18 holes she is responsible for posting an 18-hole round score using her handicap to record her most likely score for the incomplete holes. If the player plays between 8 and 13 holes, she is responsible for posting a 9 hole score. A player's most likely score is par + any handicap strokes "pops" received for that hole. If you enter your score on a hole-by-hole basis, the maximum score for each hole will automatically be applied.
Sign-up sheets for all social events and general meetings will be posted on the EBLGA bulletin board. You will need to sign up for golf day and social events/meetings separately. Your name will not be transferred from one list to the other.
